Getting Under the Hood with Mobile GIS

We will have a series of presentations which examine the behind the scenes aspects of mobile applications. John Reiser will kickoff the day by providing an overview of the open HTML5 platform, examples of what can be created using this framework, and some pointers on how to begin developing your GIS applications for mobile devices.

Seth Van Aken will present an in-depth look at select mobile options including iOS. The afternoon will include lightning talks from users about their mobile projects followed by the Mobile Doctors’ Office, where all of our presenters will be available to answer your toughest mobile questions.
