Innovating GIS in the Time of COVID-19

Virtual Meeting hosted by Zoom

Agenda

By now, everyone has found a way to deal with 2020, Geospatial and Infrastructure professionals included. A recession and COVID-19 have reduced revenues and created increased demand for social services. This is a perfect storm that no government, university or private firm could have foreseen. However, many organizations have shown incredible resilience, finding new ways to utilize geospatial knowledge and asset intelligence to better serve their customers and constituents.

In MAC URISA’s 2020 Fall Event, we will explore the various ways the public and private sector work together to find innovative solutions at the local and regional level. These solutions may have applications in your day to day work, or may give you new ideas for cooperation and effective, new approaches. Please join us for this virtual conference and find ways to innovate your GIS and geospatial knowledge in the time of COVID-19.

Kahoot! Mappy Hour immediately following at 4pm! A Kahoot! is trivia and fun rolled into one. In our case, it’s a very GIS themed online quiz show for the MAC URISA post-event social hour. So bring your trivia skills, bring a good attitude and grab a drink of choice as we close the Fall 2020 MAC URISA event with something that’s good for the brain and a good time.

For the safety of all our attendees, this event will be hosted virtually using Zoom. Event registration is FREE! Registration closes on Monday, November 9th, 2020 at 12pm.
