The Mid-Atlantic Chapter of URISA (MAC URISA) is a volunteer professional organization with a longstanding reputation for providing quality educational programs to the Mid-Atlantic GIS community. For our second half-day virtual event in 2024, MAC URISA will welcome presenters and a panel discussion focused on indoor geographic information systems (GIS). An indoor GIS is a geospatial system that allows users to create, manage, analyze, and map indoor data. This system can help organizations improve efficiency and engagement by providing shared awareness of facility operations, emergency planning, wayfinding, and space management. This webinar will explore experiences in building/maintaining indoor GIS systems, data collection methodology/tools, common pitfalls and lessons learned.
This event will be hosted virtually using Zoom. Event registration is FREE! You will receive a confirmation email with a link to join the webinar upon successful registration. Please make sure that your Zoom name is the same as your MAC URISA registration when entering the meeting. Registration will close on Tuesday, June 25th, 2024 at 12pm.
